حَدَّثَنَا خَطَّابٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، وَإِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالاَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: يَقُولُ اللَّهُ: يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، إِذَا أَخَذْتُ كَرِيمَتَيْكَ، فَصَبَرْتَ عِنْدَ الصَّدْمَةِ وَاحْتَسَبْتَ، لَمْ أَرْضَ لَكَ ثَوَابًا دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ.
Khattab narrated to us, he said: Ismail narrated to us, on the authority of Thabit bin Ajlan, and Ishaq bin Yazid, they said: Ismail narrated to us, he said: narrated to me Thabit, on the authority of Al-Qasim, on the authority of Abu Umamah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: God says: O son of Adam, when I take your two generous gifts, you will be patient. When you were shocked and sought reward, I did not offer you any reward other than Paradise.
