Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47058
Hadith #47058
Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna told us, he said: Abdul Wahhab told us, he said: Hisham told us, on the authority of Muhammad, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that a man came to the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he was beautiful, so he said: I loved beauty, and I was given what you see, so much so that I do not like anyone to surpass me, either. He said: With a shoelace, or he said: With a red shoelace. Is that arrogance? He said: No, but arrogance is the act of distorting the truth and deceiving people.
