حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِلأَشَجِّ أَشَجِّ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ: إِنَّ فِيكَ لَخَصْلَتَيْنِ يُحِبُّهُمَا اللَّهُ: الْحِلْمُ وَالأنَاةُ.
Abdullah bin Abdul Wahhab told us, he said: Bishr bin al-Mufaddal told us, he said: Qurrah told us, on the authority of Abu Jamrah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas He said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Al-Ashjaj Ashjaj Abd Al-Qais: You have two qualities that God loves: forbearance and patience.
