Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47148
Hadith #47148
Muhammad ibn Ubayd Allah narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Hazim narrated to us, on the authority of many who narrated it, on the authority of Al-Walid ibn Rabah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he ascended the pulpit and said: Amen, Amen, Amen. It was said to him: O Messenger of God, why were you doing this? He said: He said to me. Gabriel: In spite of a servant’s will, his parents, or one of them, did not admit him to Paradise. I said: Amen. Then he said: In spite of a servant’s nose. Ramadan has come upon him and he has not been forgiven, so I said: Amen. Then he said: Against the will of a man in whose presence you were mentioned, he did not pray for you, so I said: Amen.
