حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى، وَالْعَفَافَ، وَالْغِنَى. وَقَالَ أَصْحَابُنَا، عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَالتُّقَى.
Amr bin Marzuq told us, he said: Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abu Al-Ahwas, on the authority of Abdullah, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was He prays: Oh God, I ask you for guidance, chastity, and wealth. Our companions said, on the authority of Amr and Al-Taqa.
