حَدَّثَنَا فَرْوَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ قَابُوسَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: الْهَدْيُ الصَّالِحُ، وَالسَّمْتُ الصَّالِحُ، وَالِاقْتِصَادُ، جُزْءٌ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ.
Farwa told us, he said: Ubaida bin Humaid told us, on the authority of Qaboos, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: Al-Saleh, Al-Sammat Al-Saleh, and Al-Iqtisad are one of the twenty-five parts of prophecy.
