حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْفَضْلُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: الطِّيَرَةُ شِرْكٌ، وَمَا مِنَّا، وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يُذْهِبُهُ بِالتَّوَكُّلِ.
Abu Nu`aym al-Fadl told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Salamah ibn Kuhayl, on the authority of Issa ibn Asim, on the authority of Zirr ibn Hubaysh, on the authority of Abdullah, he said: He said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: Tira is shirk, and it is not of us, but God removes it with trust.
