Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47553

Abdullah bin Salih told us, he said: Al-Layth told me, he said: Uqail told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, he said: Anas told me that he was Ibn Ten years later, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to Medina, and my mothers used to encourage me to serve him, so I served him for ten years, and he died. He became her bride, so he called the people, and they had enough food, then they left, and a group remained with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, so they stayed for a long time. He stayed, so he got up and left and I left so that they would leave, so he walked and I walked with him, until he came to the threshold of Aisha’s room, then he thought they had left. So he returned, and I returned with him until he entered Zainab's room, when they were sitting. He returned and I returned until he reached the threshold of Aisha's room, and he thought that they had left. So he returned and I returned with him, and lo and behold, they had left. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, put a veil between me and him and lowered the veil.
