حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ}، قَالَ: الْغِنَاءُ وَأَشْبَاهُهُ.
Hafs bin Omar told us, he said: Khaled bin Abdullah told us, he said: Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib told us, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, in the Almighty’s saying: {And among the people is he who buys hadith for his own entertainment}, he said: singing and the like.
