عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: دَخَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أَبِي سَيْفٍ الْقَيْنِ وَكَانَ ظِئْرًا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ فَأَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَقَبَّلَهُ وَشَمَّهُ ثُمَّ دَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ يَجُودُ بِنَفْسِهِ فَجَعَلَتْ عَيْنَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَذْرِفَانِ. فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ: وَأَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ فَقَالَ:
" يَا ابْنَ عَوْفٍ إِنَّهَا رَحْمَةٌ ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَهَا بِأُخْرَى فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْعَيْنَ تَدْمَعُ وَالْقَلْبَ يَحْزَنُ وَلَا نَقُولُ إِلَّا مَا يُرْضِي رَبَّنَا وَإِنَّا بِفِرَاقِك يَا إِبْرَاهِيم لَمَحْزُونُونَ "
On the authority of Anas, who said: We entered with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Abu Saif al-Qayn, who was Abraham’s guardian, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, took And peace be upon him, Abraham, so he kissed him and smelled him. Then we entered upon him after that, and Abraham was being generous with himself, so eyes were raised. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, shed tears. Then Abdul Rahman bin Awf said to him: And you, O Messenger of God? He said: “O Ibn Awf, this is mercy.” Then he followed it with another and said: “The eyes shed tears and the heart grieves, and we only say what pleases our Lord.” And we miss you, oh Abraham will be saddened.”
