Hadith #49556
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا أَوَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَلْيَنْفُضْ فِرَاشَهُ بِدَاخِلَةِ إِزَارِهِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي مَا خَلَفَهُ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أرفعه إِن أَمْسَكت نَفسِي فارحمهما وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ ". وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: " ثُمَّ لْيَضْطَجِعْ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمن ثمَّ ليقل: بِاسْمِك "
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «فَلْيَنْفُضْهُ بِصَنِفَةِ ثَوْبِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَإِن أَمْسَكت نَفسِي فَاغْفِر لَهَا»
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “When one of you goes to bed, let him shake off his bed inside his garment.” For he does not know what he left behind upon him. Then he says: In your name, my Lord, I have placed myself at my side, and in you I raise it. If I retain my life, have mercy on them, and if I send it away So protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.” And in a narration: “Then let him lie on his right side, then let him say: In Your Name.” And in a narration: “Then let him shake it with the palm of his garment three times, and if I catch myself, forgive it.”
