So we told him that he had gained power over the Arabs who followed him and they obeyed him. He said to them: Was that so? We said: Yes. He said: But that is better for them if they obey him, and I will inform you about me: I am the Antichrist, and I am about to be allowed to go out. Then I will go out and walk through the land and will not be forsaken. There is no village that I settled in for forty nights other than Mecca and Taiba, both of which are forbidden to me whenever I wanted to enter one or another.
