Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #52204

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: We witnessed with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, Hunayn, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to a man among those with him who claimed This Islam is from the people of Hell. When the battle came, the man fought fiercely, and his wounds were many, so he came. A man said: O Messenger of God, did you see that what I spoke about is one of the people of Hell? He fought in the cause of God in the most intense fighting, and his wounds were many. So he said: Of the people of Hell. Some people were almost suspicious, but while he was doing that, the man found the pain of his wounds so he fell into his hand. Then he pulled out an arrow and committed suicide with it. Then some Muslim men approached the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and they said, O Messenger of God. God is truthful in your speech. So-and-so committed suicide and killed himself, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “God is the greatest witness.” Indeed, I am the servant of God and His Messenger, O Bilal, arise and pronounce. No one will enter Paradise except a believer, and God will support this religion with the immoral man. Narrated by Al-Bukhari
