Hadith #53560
Ubayd Allah ibn Musa informed us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Alqamah ibn Marthad, on the authority of Ibn Buraydah, on the authority of his father, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace May God bless him and grant him peace, “He performed ablution for every prayer, until the day of the conquest of Mecca. He performed the prayers with one ablution, and wiped over his socks,” so he said to him Omar: I saw you did something that you did not do? He said: “I did it intentionally, O Omar.” Abu Muhammad said: This indicates the action of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. And he acknowledged that the meaning of God Almighty’s saying: “When you stand up for prayer, wash your faces.” Surah Al-Ma’idah, verse 6 #, for every hadith scholar, is not For the pure person, and from it is the saying of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: “There is no ablution unless it has been done.” And God knows best.
