أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ، فَاغْسِلُوهُ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ، وَالثَّامِنَةَ عَفِّرُوهُ فِي التُّرَابِ "
Wahb bin Jarir told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Abu al-Tayyah, on the authority of Mutarrif, on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him And he said: “If a dog licks a vessel, wash it seven times, and rub it in the dirt the eighth time.”
