أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ الْكُوفِيِّ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِنِّي أُسْتَحَاضُ، فَقَالَ :" عَلَيْكِ بِالْمَاءِ فَانْضَحِيهِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَقْطَعُ الدَّمَ عَنْكِ "
Hajjaj told us, Hammad told us, on the authority of Hammad al-Kufi, that a woman asked Ibrahim, and she said: I am undergoing menstruation, so he said: “You have to use water.” So sacrifice it to him, for it will cut off your blood.”
