أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ مَالِكٌ عَنْ عِدَّةِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ إِذَا طُلِّقَتْ ، فَحَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ :" عِدَّتُهَا سَنَةٌ "، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : هُوَ قَوْلُ مَالِكٍ
Abdullah bin Maslamah told us, saying: Malik was asked about the waiting period for a woman who undergoes menstruation if she is divorced, so Malik told us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, On the authority of Saeed bin Al-Musayyab, he said: “Her waiting period is one year.” Abu Muhammad said: This is Malik’s statement.
