أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ الْحَائِضِ تَسْمَعُ السَّجْدَةَ، قَالَ :" لَا تَسْجُدُ لِأَنَّهَا صَلَاةٌ "
Ahmad bin Humaid told us, Abd al-Rahim bin Sulaiman told us, Al-Hasan bin Ubayd Allah told us, on the authority of Muslim bin Subaih, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, was asked about a menstruating woman listening to the prostration. He said: “Do not prostrate because it is a prayer.”
