أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ كَرِيمَةَ ، قالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ ، وَسَأَلْتُهَا امْرَأَةٌ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا مِنْ دَمِ حِيضَتِهَا، قَالَتْ :" لِتَغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ "، قَالَتْ : فَإِنَّا نَغْسِلُهُ فَيَبْقَى أَثَرُهُ؟، قَالَتْ : " إِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ "
Saeed bin Al-Rabi’ told us, on the authority of Ali bin Al-Mubarak, he said: I heard Karima, she said: I heard Aisha, and I asked her about a woman who is afflicted with Her garment was cleaned of the blood of her menstrual period. She said: “Let her wash it with water.” She said: “Should we wash it and its traces remain?” She said: “Indeed, water is pure.”
