Hadith #54481
Hashim bin Al-Qasim told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ziyad, he said: I heard Abu Hurairah speaking, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. And peace be upon him, because he said: “The poor person is not the one who is denied a morsel and two morsels, a kasra and two morsels, and a date. And the two dates, but the poor person who does not have enough wealth to do so is ashamed to ask the people for something urgent, or he does not ask the people for what is required.”
