Suleiman bin Harb narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Nabih bin Wahb: that a man from the Quraysh addressed to Aban bin Othman, who is the prince of the season. Aban said: I do not see him as anything but an Iraqi who is arrogant. “Indeed, a muhrim cannot marry or be given in marriage.” He told us With that, Othman, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
