أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَيُّ الْجِهَادِ أَفْضَلُ؟. قَالَ :" مَنْ عُقِرَ جَوَادُهُ وَأُهْرِيقَ دَمُهُ "
Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Malik bin Mughul told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Abu Sufyan, on the authority of Jabir, he said: It was said: O Messenger of God, Which jihad is better? He said: “Whoever hamstrings his horse and sheds its blood.”
