أَخْبَرَنَا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَحْرِيَّةَ ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" الْغَزْوُ غَزْوَانِ : فَأَمَّا مَنْ غَزَا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللَّهِ وَأَطَاعَ الْإِمَامَ، وَأَنْفَقَ الْكَرِيمَةَ، وَيَاسَرَ الشَّرِيكَ وَاجْتَنَبَ الْفَسَادَ، فَإِنَّ نَوْمَهُ وَنُبْهَهُ أَجْرٌ كُلُّهُ، وَأَمَّا مَنْ غَزَا فَخْرًا وَرِيَاءً وَسُمْعَةً، وَعَصَى الْإِمَامَ، وَأَفْسَدَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَرْجِعُ بِالْكَفَافِ "
Nu'aym bin Hammad told us, Baqiya bin Al-Walid told us, on the authority of Buhair bin Sa'd, on the authority of Khaled bin Ma'dan, on the authority of Abu Bahriyya, On the authority of Muadh bin Jabal, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Invasion is two conquests: as for whoever invades seeking the face of God and obeys Imam, And he spends what he generously, and pleases his partner, and avoids corruption, for his sleep and his awakening will be rewarded in all. As for whoever conquers pride, hypocrisy, and reputation, If he disobeys the Imam and spreads corruption on earth, he will not return with enough.”
