Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #55431

Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr told us, Al-Faraj bin Saeed told us, he said: My uncle Thabit bin Saeed told me, on the authority of his father Saeed, on the authority of his grandfather Abyad bin Hammal: He asked the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, about arachna fever, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “There is no fever in the desert.” He said: “Is there a fever in my garden?” Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There is no fever in the desert.” Faraj said: meaning Ibn Abyad: In my enclosure: the land on which the crops are enclosed.
