Hadith #55507
Saeed bin Amir told us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Ya’la bin Ata, on the authority of Amr bin Asim, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: Abu said Bakr: O Messenger of God, tell me something to say in the morning and in the evening. He said: “Say: O God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, Lord of everything and its Sovereign. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself, and from the evil of Satan and his polytheism.” He said: “Say it then.” “In the morning and in the evening, and when you go to bed.”
