حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَا يَقُصُّ إِلَّا أَمِيرٌ، أَوْ مَأْمُورٌ، أَوْ مُرَاءٍ ".
قُلْتُ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ : إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ مُتَكَلِّفٌ.
فَقَالَ : هَذَا مَا سَمِعْتُ
Abu Nu`aym told us, Abdullah bin Amer told us, on the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “No one can tell the story except a prince, or an official, or a hypocrite.” I said to Amr bin Shuaib: We were listening to Mutakalim.
