Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26373

He said in the gate about the servant of Allah, the son of Mas 'ud, and his father, the son of Ka'b, Muadh bin Jabal, Abu Sa'id, Abu Hurairah, and Anas bin Malik. Abu Issa said the hadith of Ibn Umar is a hasan authentic hadith. Thus, Nafi’ narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said, “The prayer of all of them is superior to the prayer of one man alone by twenty-seven days.” “A degree.” Abu Issa said, “and most of those who narrated on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, only said “twenty-five.” Except for Ibn Umar, for he said “With twenty-seven.”
