Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26724

Abu Issa said: Muhammad bin Bashar said: I asked Yahya bin Saeed about this hadith, and he told me on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Al-Qasim, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Salih bin Khawat, on the authority of Sahl bin Abi Hathamah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, with a similar hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Al-Ansari . Yahya said to me, “Write it next to it.” I do not memorize the hadith, but it is like the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Al-Ansari. Abu Issa said. This is a hasan and authentic hadith. Yahya bin Saeed Al-Ansari did not narrate it on the authority of Al-Qasim bin Muhammad, and this is how the companions of Yahya bin Happy Al-Ansari is considered a maqoof, and Shu’bah narrated it from Abd al-Rahman bin al-Qasim bin Muhammad.
