Malik bin Anas narrated, on the authority of Yazid bin Roman, on the authority of Salih bin Khawat, on the authority of someone who prayed the prayer of fear with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and mentioned something similar to it. Abu Issa said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith. And Malik, Al-Shafi’i, Ahmad, and Ishaq say about it. It was narrated on the authority of more than one person that The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prayed one rak’ah at a time in one of the two sects.
