Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26740

Qutaibah narrated to us, Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ziyad, and he is Abu Al-Harith Al-Basri, trustworthy, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said, Muhammad said May God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “Does not the one who raises his head before the imam fear that God will turn his head into the head of a donkey?” Qutaybah said. Hammad told me Muhammad bin Ziyad, but he only said: “Is he not afraid?” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. And Muhammad bin Ziyad He is a trustworthy Basri, and his nickname is Abu Al-Harith.
