Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26768

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Muadh bin Hisham narrated to us, my father narrated to me, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Abu Harb bin Abi Al-Aswad, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said about the urine of an infant boy: “The boy’s urine should be sprinkled and the boy’s urine should be washed.” “The slave girl.” Qatada said, “And this is as long as they are not fed, then if they are eaten, they should be washed all together.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good hadith.” It was reported. Hisham Al-Dastawwi narrated this hadith on the authority of Qatada, but Sa’id bin Abi Orouba transmitted it on the authority of Qatada and did not narrate it.
