Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Abdul Rahman bin Mahdi told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Asim bin Ubaid Allah, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amer. Ibn Rabi’ah, on the authority of his father, he said: I saw the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, using the toothbrush countless times while fasting. He said, and on the authority of Aisha. Abu Issa said the hadith of Amer bin Rabi’ah is a hasan hadith. This is acted upon according to the people of knowledge. They do not see any harm in using the siwak for a fasting person unless Some of the people of knowledge disliked the fasting person using the siwak with a fresh oud, and they disliked the siwak for him to use the siwak at the end of the day, and Al-Shafi’i did not think There is no harm in using the siwak at the beginning of the day or at the end, and Ahmad and Ishaq disliked the siwak at the end of the day.
