Abu Hafs narrated to us, Amr bin Ali Al-Fallas narrated to us, Abdullah bin Dawud narrated to us, on the authority of Thawr bin Yazid, on the authority of Khalid bin Maadan, on the authority of Rabia’a al-Jarashi, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Hafsa and my father Qatada, Abu Hurairah, and Usama bin Zaid. Abu Issa said that the hadith of Aisha is a good and strange hadith from this perspective.
