Hadith #27065
Qutaibah narrated to us, and Abu Sa`id Al-Ashjaj narrated to us, they said: Yahya bin Al-Yaman narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, bought his gift from Qudayd. Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith. We do not know it from the hadith of Al-Thawri except from The hadith of Yahya bin Al-Yaman. It was narrated on the authority of Nafi’ that Ibn Umar bought his gift from Qudayd. Abu Issa said, and this is more correct.
