Hadith #27144
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Abd al-Quddus bin Bakr bin Khunais told us, Habib bin Sulaym al-Absi told us, on the authority of Bilal bin Yahya. Al-Absi, on the authority of Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman, said, “If I die, do not announce me to anyone. I fear that there will be a mourning, for I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. God, peace and blessings be upon him, forbids mourning. This is a good hadith.
