Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27397
Hadith #27397
Qutaibah told us, Al-Layth told us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, who said: A servant came and pledged allegiance to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the emigration, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not realize He was a slave, and his master came wanting him, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “With his own eyes.” So he bought him for two slaves. Two lions, then he did not pledge allegiance to anyone yet until Abd asked him. He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Anas. Abu Issa said, the hadith of Jabir is a hasan hadith. It is true. The practice of this according to the people of knowledge is that there is no harm in one slave being treated with two slaves hand to hand. They differed concerning it if he was abusive.
