Ibn Abi Umar told us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani, Ibn Abi Najih, Humayd al-Araj, and Abd al-Karim, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Laila, on the authority of Ka`b ibn Ujrah, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed by him while he was in Hudaybiyyah. Before he entered Mecca while he was in Ihram, he was lighting a fire under a pot and lice were running down his face. He said, “Are these worries of yours harming you?” “So he said, ‘Yes.’ So he said, ‘Shave and feed a group of six poor people.’ And the difference is three fingers,” or fast three. A few days or forget it “Nasikah.” Ibn Abi Najih said, “Or slaughter a sheep.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith. And it should be acted upon.” According to some people of knowledge, among the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others, if a person in ihram shaves his head or wears clothing that he should not If he wears clothing during his ihram or uses perfume, he must make expiation, as was narrated on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
