Hadith #27745
Ibn Abi Umar told us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, on the authority of Bajalah, that Umar did not take tribute from The Magi until Abd al-Rahman bin Awf told him that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, took the tribute from the Magi of Hijra. There is more talk in the hadith. From this. This is a good and authentic hadith.
