حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ، بَدْرٍ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ كَعِدَّةِ أَصْحَابِ طَالُوتَ ثَلاَثِمِائَةٍ وَثَلاَثَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلاً ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ‏.‏
Wasil bin Abdul-Ala al-Kufi told us, Abu Bakr bin Ayyash told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Bara’, he said: We were talking that Companions, Badr on the day of Badr is like the number of the companions of Taloot, three hundred and thirteen men.
