Hadith #27828
Nasr bin Ali Al-Jahdhami narrated to us, Al-Mu’tamir bin Sulaiman narrated to us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Bara’ bin Azib, that the Messenger God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Bring me a shoulder or a tablet.” So He wrote: (Those of the believers who sit are not equal.) And Amr Ibn Umm Maktoum behind his back and said, “Do I have any permission?” So it was revealed: “Not one of those who are destined to harm.” And on the authority of Ibn Abbas and Jabir. And Zaid bin Thabit. This is a hasan and authentic hadith, but it is a strange hadith from the hadith of Sulayman al-Taymi on the authority of Abu Ishaq. Shu’bah narrated Al-Thawri narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu Ishaq.
