حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَيْبَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" يُمْنُ الْخَيْلِ فِي الشُّقْرِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شَيْبَانَ .
Abdullah bin Al-Sabah Al-Hashimi Al-Basri told us, Yazid bin Harun told us, Shayban, meaning Ibn Abdul-Rahman, told us, Issa told us Ibn Ali Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abbas, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Horses are right in Al-Shuqar. Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith. We do not know it except from this source, from the hadith of Shayban.
