حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، وَالْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلاَءَ نَزَعَ خَاتَمَهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏
Ishaq bin Mansour told us, Sa`id bin Amir told us, and Al-Hajjaj bin Minhal told us, they said: Hammam told us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, On the authority of Anas, he said: Whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered the toilet, he would remove his ring. Abu Issa said: This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith.
