حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ الصَّوَّافُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ السَّكَنِ الأَنْصَارِيَّةِ، قَالَتْ كَانَ كُمُّ يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الرُّسْغِ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏
Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Al-Hajjaj Al-Sawwaf Al-Basri narrated to us, Muadh bin Hisham Al-Dastawai narrated to us, my father narrated to me, on the authority of Badil bin Maysarah. Al-Uqaili, on the authority of Shahr ibn Hawshab, on the authority of Asma bint Yazid ibn Al-Sakan Al-Ansariyya, she said: The sleeve of the Messenger of God’s hand was May God bless him and grant him peace, up to the wrist. Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith.
