Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27954

Zayd bin Akhzam Al-Tai narrated to us, Sallam bin Qutaibah narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Abu Qilabah, on the authority of Abu Tha’labah, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked about the pots of the Magians, and he said, “Clean them by washing and cook in them.” He forbade any beast with a fang. He said: Abu Issa This is a famous hadith from the hadith of Abu Tha’labah, and it was narrated from him through another route. And Abu Tha’labah’s name is Jurthum. It is said that “Jurhum” and it is said that “Nashib” is mentioned. This hadith was mentioned on the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Abu Asma’ al-Rahbi, on the authority of Abu Tha’labah.
