Ali bin Issa bin Yazid Al-Baghdadi narrated to us, Ubayd Allah bin Muhammad Al-Aishi narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, on the authority of Ayyub and Qatada, On the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Abu Asma al-Rahbi, on the authority of Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani, that he said, O Messenger of God, we are in the land of the people of The Book, so we cook in their pots and drink in their vessels. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “If you do not find anything else, wash it with water.” Then he said, O Messenger of God, we are in a hunting ground, so how should we do? He said, “If you sent your hound dog and mentioned the name of God and it killed Then eat, and if he is not bound, then eat, then eat. And if you shoot your arrow and mention the name of God and it kills, then eat. Abu Issa said: This is a good hadith. True.
