Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27980

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Abu Ahmad narrated to us, and Al-Ma’mal narrated to us, they said, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Yafour, on the authority of Ibn Abi Awfa, he said We fought seven battles with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, eating locusts. Abu Issa said, and Shu’bah narrated, this hadith on the authority of Abu Ya’four, on the authority of Ibn Abi Awfa said, “I went on raids with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, eating locusts. Muhammad bin Bashar told us that. Muhammad bin Jafar Shu`bah told us about this.
