Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28022

Ubaid bin Asbat bin Muhammad al-Qurashi al-Kufi and Abu Sa`id al-Ashjaj narrated to us, saying: Abdullah bin Idris narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, On the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: I heard the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, say: “Every intoxicant is forbidden.” He said, and in the chapter on Omar, Ali, Ibn Masoud, Anas, Abu Sa’id, Abu Musa, Al-Ashjaj Al-Asri, Daylam, Maimuna, Ibn Abbas, Qais bin Saad, and Al-Nu’man. Bin Bashir, Muawiyah, Wael bin Hajr, Qurrah Al-Muzani, Abdullah bin Mughaffal, Umm Salamah, Buraydah, and Abu Huraira and Aisha. Abu Issa said: This is a hasan hadith. It was narrated on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, similar to it. Both of them are authentic. It was narrated by more than one person, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and similar to it, and on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
