حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ وَإِنَّ ظَرْفًا لاَ يُحِلُّ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يُحَرِّمُهُ وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Muhammad bin Bashar, Al-Hasan bin Ali, and Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, they said: Abu Asim narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Alqamah bin Marthad, on the authority of Suleiman bin Buraydah, on the authority of his father, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Indeed, I forbade you from circumstances, and if A circumstance that neither makes anything permissible nor forbidden, and every intoxicant is forbidden.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
