Hadith #28272
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ يَرِثُ الْوَلاَءَ مَنْ يَرِثُ الْمَالَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِالْقَوِيِّ ‏.‏
Qutaibah told us, he said: Ibn Lahi’ah told us, on the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Loyalty is inherited from whoever inherits wealth.” Abu Issa said: This is a hadith whose chain of narration is not strong.
