Hadith #28094
Ibn Abi Umar told us, Sufyan told us, Al-Zuhri told us, on the authority of Salim, on the authority of his father, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “There is no envy except in Two things: a man to whom God has given wealth, and he spends from it during the night and during the day, and a man to whom God has given the Qur’an, and he continues with it. “At night and during the day.” Abu Issa said, “This is a hasan and authentic hadith.” It was narrated on the authority of Ibn Masoud and Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet. May God bless him and grant him peace.
